It is located just 24 km from the town of Katerini, 43 km from the port of Thessaloniki and 60 km away from the airport Macedonia and with direct access through bus (stop Makriyalos) and by train (Train Station Aegina).
The beautiful tourist complex that is open and operates from 1st May through 30rd September, is situated in an idyllic green location directly next to the sea. Mountains and sea, green and blue, are present in admirable harmony.

The Platamon Castle (Greek: Κάστρο του Πλαταμώνα), an important part of the history of Pieria, is a Crusader castle (built between 1204 and 1222) in northern Greece (Macedonia) and is located southeast of Mount Olympus, in a strategic position which controls the exit of the Tempe valley, through which passes the main road connecting Macedonia with Thessaly and southern Greece.
Pydna is an ancient Greek city in the regional unit of Pieria, Central Macedonia, Greece. It is an important place in the history of Pieria and a major archaeological site located directly at the Aegean Sea, 16 km northeast of Katerini, 28 km north-east of Dion and 2.5 km from the village of Makrygialos.
The wetland of Nea Agathoupoli is an ideal destination to experience the great outdoors. This is a beautiful coastal wetland located to the south of the Aliakmonas delta hosting halophytic vegetation, tamarisks and extended reedbeds, which are home to important bird species.

The site is more geared to longer stay caravans and guests who rent the rooms. I was traveling by bicycle and the bathroom facilities are better than the average Greek campsite. There is a decent sized pool and a nice Restauant overlooking the sea serving well priced food.
Lovely staff, very friendly people. Great view on the beach which is couple of minutes walk from the hotel. The pool is nice and big with a nice bar. The restaurant is also really nice.

Fantastic location on a private beach and with a nice clean pool. The restaurant is very good! We had a lovely meal here. The owner of the campsite is very friendly and helpful. We were supposed to stay here for 1 night while traveling through, but it turned out to be 4. Also because the sights are close by.

It was very nice, the room they gave us was corner and overlooking the sea was just wonderful. The room was clean. The beach had sunbeds and was spotless. And the food was great and very economical. Everyone was very kind and hospitable. We will definitely prefer it again!
